Double Down

The concept for double down originated during my 1st year of college as a 2D platformer using playing cards as ammunition to create your own platforms and attack enemies. This idea changed as time went on and eventually it became the 3D Speedrun Shooter it is today. Double Down (originally called Go Bust) was my final year project during my 2024/2025 year of study at University of Staffordshire London, and although I am happy with the outcome of this 16 week project, I have big plans and ideas for this game that I want to create. There are also a lot of design mistakes which I believe I have made as well, and going back to this will give me the chance to create the game I wanted to make. I will be updated this blog with new information about this game as development on it progresses
